Welcome to the Intervening to Shape the Future AERA Working Group!

This is a space for us to collaborate and share ideas before, during, and after AERA related to the Intervening to Shape the Future Presidential Session. Here you will find:

• Session Details: Time and Location of the Presidential Session, Working Group Sessions, Plans for the Working Group
• Recommended Sessions and Readings: A Page to Recommend Related Relevant Sessions and Background Readings
• Discussion (connected to Readings page) : A Place for Starting and Continuing Discussions of Key Themes, Questions, and Ideas

To Edit Any Page

• Just click on the tab labeled "edit"
• Add your contribution where you'd like, using the formatting palette as you wish
• Click save at the right of the toolbar at the top to save your contribution

To Add a Reading on the Session Overview and Readings Page

1. Go to "Manage Wiki" and under Content, select "Files
2. Follow the directions to upload the file.
3. Go back to the main page, click edit, then move the cursor where you want to insert the file, and click insert file.
4. Hit save, and you are done.

A Little Wiki Etiquette

• Be concise in your contributions, but provide enough context for others who may have different disciplinary backgrounds, theoretical orientations, etc., to understand you.
• Because this is a place for dialogue, and isn't Wikipedia, this space is one where we encourage you to add on to or respond to others' ideas and contributions, not delete them.
• Be generous: In discussion fora, ask questions to clarify, and presume that a contributor you don't understand makes perfect sense from their perspective.
